Beyond suspicion - How to steal an identity

When John Nolan walks into the liquor store to buy a bottle of wine he becomes the victim of a store robbery but lucky him he doesnt get hurt. Instead of him one of the salesguys gets shot and John tries to help him because he assumes it was his fault. He doesnt know that Auggie Rose came outta jail lately, basically he doesnt know anything than that he feels guilty for the man because he sent him to get a new bottle just because he didnt like the scratch on it. Well, Auggie dies and John gets possesed by the idea of finding family or friends of him to organize a funeral he wouldnt get otherwise.

Once he searches he soon finds himself wanting to find out more about the dead man and he reads letters, becomes friends with his neighbours and moves into his old flat, he even cares about his parrot. Sounds strange? The story is not just a bit absurd but also catchy, you will love it for sure.

I'd also consider this not so well known movie one of Jeff Goldblum's (John Nolan) best roles ever, right next to "The fly" and also it is a remarkeable piece of movie history in my oppinion! You may think that's a bit too much honour for this movie but believe me, it is one of the really great ones!
